Family History Open House

The Madison Family History Center will host a Genealogy Open House on
Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
We are located at 275 Warpas Road, Madison, Connecticut.

A variety of highly skilled genealogical specialists will be available to assist and instruct both beginner as well as advanced level persons seeking knowledge of their personal family heritage. There will be experts specializing in Italian, Swedish, Irish, English and United States genealogy. Come and learn how to utilize computer options for capturing and storing data as well as interchanging and sharing data with other members of your family. We will have specialists who will provide instruction on how to write family and personal histories. There will be demonstrations on techniques for restoring and preserving old family photos and directly applying them to the preservation of family history. Trained consultants will also be on hand in our Family History Center to conduct tours and offer hands on opportunities to experience family history work up close and personal.

This is a great opportunity to get started to find that long lost relative or to trace the ancestral roots that you have always been curious about. On the other hand should you be a seasoned family history researcher and perhaps you have encountered a road block in your research our specialists will more than likely be able to assist and guide you. With the recent surge in interest in genealogy we are very fortunate to have a family history center located here on the shoreline where we have access to more than 2,500,000 films and records at our center which are available to the public. We invite you to come to our open house and share the joy of learning your family's history. For further information contact: Rich[woodwiz61@aol.com]
